This assembly is the back of the Mars or MEI TRC Series Acceptor. It becomes dirty and worn with age and may cause poor acceptance. If your unit is old be sure to inspect for grooves in the plastic from thousands of coins.
This is the front lid assembly on a Mars and/or MEI TRC Series Coin Changer. It swings out to allow the unit to be cleaned. If the lid is allowed to snap back the delicate ceramic coil inside will break causing poor acceptance.
This part is located on the acceptor portion of the changer, click here if you need the complete acceptor assembly. You can also view this part in our exploded views.
This MEI return or reject lever for MC/TRC series coin changers is prone to breakage if the linkage in the vending machine is too low. When the door is shut this lever may break along with the plastic deck assembly that holds the lever, if the force is great enough.
